DJ Shack

Derrick "DJ Shack" is a Disc Jockey from New Orleans, Louisiana. DJ Shack has been rooted in music since birth with a hand full of family members being musicians. DJ Shack’s father, Derrick Mushatt Sr. has had the most impact on his son’s life. Mushatt was also a Disc Jockey and a member of the legendary rap group 39 Posse. When Mushatt Sr. was killed on the streets of New Orleans in 1997, DJ Shack was inspired to live on his father’s legacy.
