My executive producer DeMonte Posey recreated the track with the intent to get Lenny to join me as the feature. I called Lenny and had that conversation but he said “he didn’t feel like he could add anything to the record” I was disappointed but decided from there that I was gonna rewrite the song, keep the integrity of the original chorus but record it my way… thus I give the world “Cause I Love” dedicated to Mr Lenny Williams and Music Lovers worldwide"
