IYKYK is a (RnB – Pop) song. The “you got me feenin” lyric is a catch phrase everyone can relate to whether in love or addicted to something. It was a way to pay homage to Jodeci since artist Keyon Bowman was highly influenced by when developing this song. The acronym IYKYK used for the hook is a slang term this generation uses a lot of today. There was a long process in developing this song. Although the writing was pretty simple, yet it took some precious time to perfect the message and sound. IYKYK is received well, it feels good to the masses and is now a timeless song.
