Latifah sounds good. I would love to hear a remix with Dead Prez on this. I need a few more spins to really respond. The music is nice yet feels like a throwback. I'm struggling... It comes off a bit preachy, but it also works. "But we need ya'." Yeah. We need more music like this. Maybe a different beat and music would make this an absolute hit. I'm such a Lyte fan that I want this to dominate, I just don't think this version will truly cut through as I would want it to. It's getting some spins, it's definitely a cook-out jam.
