Dee Dowdy

Dee Dowdy was born and raised in Sanford, NC. He grew up listening and idolizing broadcast legends like Tom Joyner, Donnie Simpson, Peter Jennings, Larry Stogner & Gilbert Baez, which made Dee’s passion for broadcasting grow tremendously. In 2008, he began his journey into becoming a radio personality by attending Central Carolina Community College in Sanford, NC, where he studied Broadcast Technology. Throughout his college career at CCCC, he produced and hosted his own morning show on the campus radio station WDCC 90.5 under the direction of instructor Bill Freeman, as well as co-hosted an on-campus television show, interviewing many celebrities such as Kid Rock, Gospel Artist James Fortune, and former NC Congressman Bob Etheridge.
